Nine 45nm Intel Processors in Line

Intel is quickly moving on to the 45nm technology and in the process, rumors are spreading that Intel will soon release 9 new processors based on the 45nm technology. The 9 processors will essentially consist of quad core processors out of which three will be Yorkfield and four will be of Wolfdale series. The three Yorkfield processors are expected to be clocked at 2.5GHz, 2.66GHz and 2.83G. Moving on to the Wolfdale series, Intel plans to release 2.66GHz, 2.83GHz, 3GHz and 3.16GHz. The Wolfdale chips will be powered by 6MB L2 cache where as Youkfield chip will be powered with 12MB L2 cache. There is one more processors of each type who information is yet mysterious.
