Microsoft today announced a significant promotional step for its Office Ultimate 2007 package in which it has decided to give students a whooping discount of about 90% to them. The Office Ultimate 2007 package which is a collection of a number of popular applications in addition to standard Office package such as Accounting Express 2007, Publisher 2007, Access 2007, Outlook 2007, InfoPath 2007, Groove 2007 etc. This heavy discount has made the price of this $679 package to go below $60 which is even cheaper than the Microsoft's standard package consisting of only Word, Excel and Powerpoint. However, to avail this discount you will have to provide them a valid .edu mail ID before April 30, 2008 after which the offer expires. One heart breaking fact about this offer is that it is currently available only in US, Canada and UK, so people outside these nations will have to wait for some time until Microsoft launches the offer in their country.
